A New Beginning

Today I went to see a counselor to make a plan and establish a goal for transferring into a 4-year university/institution. My personal goal unknown to anyone is to finish college by this fall. I have to say that I feel a lot better in life to take on such a big task, as I'm tackling more than just a full semester's course load.

While my goal to finish college is pending, my issues with society and social environments isn't. I find myself pushing away any activity, event, or college courses that require this type of interaction. This issue has been with me since I was a boy. I guess it might have something to do with teasing and abuse I suffered in school due to my small deformity. Countless of times I have attempted to get rid of this fear and while some progress has been made, it never completely went away. My recent depression didn't help the matter at all. Shut out. Isolated. Alone. I feel that my peers look at me differently and judge me based on my look. I hope to overcome this by the end of this year, but regardless of this issue, I have regain a small spark of energy to live life the best that I can.

untitled for now

The wonderful world of blogging. I had one before which proved unsuccessful, but I'm giving it one more shot. I'm a 21 year-old college student who is working non-stop to transfer to a university soon. I write music and ultimately get a band together. I've recently come off a deep depression for the last 3 years, and have regain the enthusiasum of life.

I hope to share my commentary, views, and biographical entries to whomever would like to hear. Until next time, keep on rockin'.
